GEAR STORE TERMS AND CONDITIONS

7 months unlimited gear access for Screenology Leavers!

As a Screenology Leaver, you’ll get 7 months unlimited gear store and room booking access from the last day of term, through to 1st of January the following year.

In every booking you will get up-to 10 items of gear or the equivalent to £2000 in value. From the 1st of January your gear store deposit will be refunded and you can opt-in to our ‘Alumni Deal’ for all your future gear bookings.

T’s & C’s

  • All existing student terms and conditions will still apply to you and we will continue to hold your deposit until the 1st of January.

  • All late fines etc still apply.

  • Bookings may be limited due to availability - current students will get priority.

 25% discount and more for Screenology Alumni / External Bookings

As a Screenology Alumni for life, you will automatically be offered a 25% discount on your gear and room bookings. 

You can get more discount by hiring our current students on your professional shoots - see our tier system below to find out how much you could save:

Tier 1 (10%), Runner

Tier 2 (15%), Assistant

Tier 3 (25%), Assistant role with training 

Tier 4 (40%), Head of department

Discounts can be stacked up to 90% of the original value of the booking. 

T’s & C’s

  • In order to create equal opportunities, we’ll limit the number of times you can hire an individual student per year to 2 times to qualify for a discount. (You may choose to work with a student more than this, but you'd need to hire another student to qualify for the discounts.)

  • You will always be required to take out your own gear insurance - a copy of this will need to be  sent to Gear@screenology.com and approved before the booking can be collected.

  • You will always be required to pay a deposit for each booking, worth 10% of the value of your booking. Any late fines, damage, or replacement costs will be taken from this deposit.

  • In the unlikely event we receive complaints from students about their working experience with you, we may choose to revoke future access to discounts.

100% gear and room hire discount for Mentors and Associates!

As a Mentor or MHi Associate, you’ll be offered 100% discount on gear bookings and room hire for a limited time period. In every booking you will get up-to 10 items of gear or the equivalent to £2000 in value.

T’s & C’s

  • If you are a Mentor, your discount will be applied to the Mentor Period of 3 months plus a bonus month as thank you from us!

  • If you are an associate, your discount will be applied to future bookings.

  • Gear Bookings are limited to up-to 10 items of gear or the equivalent to £2000 in value. 

  • Room Hire bookings are limited to regular opening hours.
